Icam, Université of Evry Paris-Saclay, Paris-Est-Créteil-Val-de-Marne university (UPEC) and Evry-Sénart Science Innovation (ESSI), with the blessing of Grand Paris Sud conurbation, have decided to unify their force for FAIM 2026 organization.
Icam
Icam has remained deeply anchored in the values it established at its founding in the French city of Lille in 1898—courage, freedom, responsibility, solidarity, and collective success—whilst continuing to expand domestically and abroad. Its main mission is to train independent, conscientious, engaged, and proactive engineers. Icam crafts its study programmes to develop these qualities, and they are the common link between current students and alumni. Currently, Icam has seven campuses both in France and abroad. The international schools train and prepare young engineers in Cameroon, Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India, Brazil, and Ecuador— countries confronting major demographic and developmental stakes. The school cultivates close ties to local companies and works together with them to build innovations responding to the stakes they face. Icam is equally committed to its various business ecosystems. In France, Icam is an accredited EESPIG school (Établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur Privé d’Intérêt Général) and includes collective action enterprises such as the non-profit Féron-Vrau Foundation, which grants honor loans to requesting students. Icam is also a founding member of the FESIC, a network of 28 French grandes écoles. Icam heads a solid social mission along with six French production schools to train young dropouts, giving them a chance to succeed academically and professionally. Inclusive admission policies and financial support of students guarantee social diversity on every campus. Lastly, Icam follows the ‘integral ecology’ principle, recognising humans as a component of our current environmental, social, and economic challenges. Each ambition has been filtered through this commitment as an extension of Icam’s 140-year-old essence: Simple, human, and radiant.
